Kamloops Family Photos on Film

I have been obsessed with photographing families on film these days. The lovely Keith Family met me in Lac Du Bois Grasslands Park on a perfect Spring afternoon.

Those big beautiful fluffy clouds were paid actors for this session (just kidding of course). With the blue sky, the rolling green sage hills and the gorgeous wide open spaces; this is definitely one of my favourite locations in Kamloops for family photos. There is plenty of areas for kiddos to run and play and we can get creative with minimalist compositions (my fave).

This session is a mix of digital and 35 mm Kodak Portra 160 film scans and the film was developed and scanned by Canadian Film Lab.

I am hoping to incorporate film photography into all of my sessions soon! If you want to take a look at some more of my recent film work you can check out some examples here.
